Feature act: MATT KATSIS

MATT KATSIS is a local singer/songwriter who combines percussive elements of six and nine string acoustic-electrified guitar, alongside harmonica, kick drum and tambourine. With deep admiration for blues and roots music, Katsis has taken his sounds to audiences far and wide since busking the streets of his hometown Melbourne and the Bourke Street Mall. He has supported the likes of Jeff Lang and Backsliders and appeared at Echuca-Moama Winter Blues, The Mornington Peninsula Blues Festival and Illawarra Folk Festival to name a few.

His debut album Over the Horizon came out in 2021, offering a retrospective of early original songs and instrumentals presented in a new light and he just completed a 20-date solo tour across VIC/ACT/NSW and SA earlier in May through July.
