Feature act: DARYL ROBERTS
DARYL ROBERTS singer, songwriter multi-instrumentalist and founding member frontman of his band, local funky blues groove outfit 'Hey Gringo', performs a solo set at MBAS. The fluid lineup of Hey Gringo has included some of Australia's most renown roots music musicians.
Daryl has been performing and recording with his band for over 30 years and been in the music industry for over four decades. For the past 20+ years he has also performed and recorded with Oz legendary 70s band Spectrum and released seven Hey Gringo albums of original songs which have charted up to No 2 on The Oz Blues & Roots Airplay Charts. He has also performed and written songs with renown legends Ross Wilson, American blues legend Jimmy Witherspoon, and performed internationally from Amsterdam to New Orleans, and Tokyo to Clarkesdale Mississippi.
