Feature act: THE FLAT FIVERS TRIO

THE FLAT FIVERS TRIO were a four piece Melbourne band called Bram. When main man Chris Stockley took time off to get himself back to full health, the remaining lads thought "we'll salute him by soldiering on" – and the Flat Fivers Trio was born. Repertoire is the same, although Blues dominates. Funky, rocky, swing will cover it – Wolf, Muddy, Freddie King and original compositions.

Michael Bright on guitar earned his stripes with The Nomads, The Orphans and Alex Burns Duo. A monster player – expect the unexpected. John Dynon is master of the bass house. Playing for Rattling Cain and Blues International, he doesn't miss a beat. Les Oldman is on drums and vocals. Ex Andrea Marr, Alex Burns, Ross Hannaford he guides the ship to port safely. Rip roaring foot-tapping, dancy... come see them live at MBAS!
