House of Blues - Jam Night

Feature act: GARRY ALLEN

GARRY ALLEN plays old time blues on period-correct steel tricone resonator guitars. He hollers and belts out the songs that laid the foundations for the popular music we all know and love today. Garry's show focusses on two of the titans of pre war acoustic blues - The legendary Robert Johnson and the sublime master of ragtime blues - Blind Boy Fuller. The show compares and contrasts their respective styles and allows you, the listener, to decide who reins supreme!

Based in Melbourne, Garry's 30-year career has included performing as Tramwreck/Cross Bones Boogie frontman, and playing across Australia with the likes of CW Stoneking, Chris Finnen and Gwyn Ashton. He is a dynamic showman, vocalist, guitarist, recording artist and an accomplished songwriter in his own right, with his songs topping national independent radio charts.

9:00pm - 11:00pm: Blues Jam Session
