Feature act: MOJO MAFIA

MOJO MAFIA is a Melbourne based Blues band from the outer Eastern suburbs. The band is the brainchild of singer/songwriter/guitarist Frank Carnovale (founder and President of the Eastern Blues Association). The band has constantly been gigging all around Melbourne for the last 10 years and continues to deliver slick, polished, passionate and entertaining performances.

With the luxury of having a drummer in the band (Ross Puglisi) who has his own recording studio and who is also an experienced sound engineer, Mojo Mafia have so far released 3 albums of original material and are currently in the studio working on album number 4.

The band has had the pleasure of playing with a mixture of many top class musicians over the years, playing a wide variety of roots based music including blues, funk, soul, rockabilly and even elements of rock n' roll, country and Americana, which has helped to keep the band fresh and exciting.

The current line up is packed with experience and talent with Frank Carnovale - Vocals/Guitar, Ryan Lim - Guitar, Chris Rigby - Bass and Ross Puglisi - Drums.

The one thing that remains the same over all these years is Mojo Mafia's ability to blend traditional and modern blues and roots based music to produce a sound that is truly their own.
