Feature act: THE FLAT FIVERS TRIO

THE FLAT FIVERS TRIO were originally a four piece Melbourne band called Bram. So while main man Chris Stockley is taking time off to get himself to full health, the remaining lads thought they’d salute him by soldiering on. Same repertoire - Bluesey, funky, rocky, swinging and covering Wolf, Muddy, Freddie King as well as original compositions.

Monster guitarist Michael Bright earned his stripes with The Nomads, The Orphans and Alex Burns Duo. Never missing a beat, John Dynon is master of the bass, having also played with Rattling Cain and Blues International. Les Oldman is master of the drum kit and vocals, having previously been in band lineups with Andrea Marr, Alex Burns and Ross Hannaford. Rip roaring, foot-tapping and even dancy – come see The Flat Fivers Trio live at MBAS.
