CHARLIE BEDFORD is a guitarist/vocalist from Melbourne representing the next generation of Blues artists making a mark on the local and international Blues scene. Playing in bars and clubs from 12 years of age, Charlie now works as a full-time musician, performing regularly as either a solo artist or fronting a band lineup.

While a young artist, Charlie journeyed to the USA in 2017, ‘18 & ‘19 to perform at the International Blues Challenge - Youth Showcase in Memphis, representing the Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society. He returned to Memphis in 2020 for the IBC and performed again in both Nashville and at Muscle Shoals.
Home in Australia, Charlie has played alongside and been mentored by some of the biggest names in the local scene, artists such as Geoff Achison, Jimi Hocking, Russell Morris and Lloyd Spiegel to name a few. He has also had the honour of performing on stage in the USA with band members from great acts such as BB King, Albert Collins, Ray Charles, Bonnie Raitt and Wilson Pickett.

Charlie’s first solo release “9,500 Miles To Memphis” received great reviews and charted at #4 on the Australian Blues & Roots Airplay Charts, where it remained for 4 months. His new album “Good To Go” was released worldwide in May 2020.
