LIMELIGHT – two brothers and a brother-from-another-mother, make up this trio of young Melbourne-based musicians. Their mutual love of music first brought them together in 2016 for a 'Youth in Blues' workshop run by the Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society, which led to the formation of the band and then a youth showcase at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis (USA) in 2017. Limelight played to standing ovations in Memphis and have since continued to win over audiences, proving their skill and versatility with their own interpretations of the Blues. 

Outstanding musicianship coupled with an ability to make each song sound unique, propels Limelight into a genre of their own. Blessed with an innate talent, Hayden Powell’s dynamic and commanding skill on the guitar is transported to the next level by the ever funky and tight rhythm section of Cameron Powell on bass and Harvey Constable on kit.

The band continues to play regularly at festivals and venues around Melbourne and regional Victoria, constantly gaining new fans along the way.
